This blog is all about the little and big joys in our lives, packed with lots of good tea, travel adventures and a daily annoying friend called IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).
When I originally started this blog in 2013, it was all about tea with a twist on travel and beauty. All these years, tea has been my most reliable companion in the good and the bad times. Bad times because I have been diagnosed with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) in 2009 which often prevents me from being able to eat the food I would like to eat, drink the drinks I would like to drink and do the things I would like to do.
However, tea has never failed me and has always been very soothing for my gut and my best friend in those times where nothing else really works. Despite my IBS symptoms, I am always trying to live the best life I can. That is not always easy to do and I want to share those parts as well in this blog. I believe it is important to share my stories. I believe, most of us have some kind of obstacle to face in life which might let him/her forget about his actual life vision and dreams. It might be something very different than IBS, but no matter what obstacle, the most important thing to remember is to never to stop doing what you really love to do!
For me, this is traveling. Exploring foreign cultures, drinking tea together with kind people that maybe have been strangers just shortly before and getting caught up in the moment.
My job has given me the chance to see many places all over the world and has given me the opportunity to look behind the sources of our food. Until today the central question for me and my IBS friend has always been: Can food really be my medicine? Come along with me on this journey to explore and understanding the roots of our food. Hopefully finding the answer to my question.
I am well aware that this blog covers a very broad range of topics and this is exactly how I want it to be. Our lives do not exist of only the good or only the bad, only black nor only white. I want this blog to be inspiring for you and to let you think outside the box! There is never only one way to go!
Have fun reading this blog and get inspired!
